Dear Chorlton
|
A great start to 2017 with 0.4% (+£1,086) rise in the price of
property coming to market, very similar to the 0.5% rise recorded
in January 2016. Encouraging early signs of home-mover
activity, with visits to Rightmove since Boxing Day up by 5% even
when compared to last years buy-to-let surge.
Here at JP & Brimelow in Chorlton my team
and I are here to help you with your buying and selling
requirements. Please don’t hesitate to contact the team on
0161 882 2233 for a free MARKET
APPRAISAL of your home or for any assistance now or throughout
2017.
‘Put your heart, mind, and soul into even your smallest
acts. This is the secret of success.'
Kind regards

- The Chorlton Nursery grant has been approved for the area
outside the precinct..
-Trade in Oxfam charity shops was excellent over Christmas period
and reasonably for Unicorn.
-Car parking over Xmas had been an issue, the only free car parking
is at Unicorn which is causing there to be congestion as the other
car park nearby which was available to customers has been shut (as
per last months minutes).

Meet the locals - Longford Park Girls FC |
---|
|
---|
Who are you
and what do you do?
I'm Dean Cookson. I am the Club Secretary for Longford Park
Junior Football Club, as well as the manager of the girls' Under 8
team (and Under 7 mixed team).
What do you
like doing in Chorlton, Stretford or Whalley Range or where do
you like going?
Most of our club activities take place in the Chorlton/Stretford
area, and it's great to see so many children enjoying playing
football. Beyond the football, I love eating and drinking in the
Chorlton area and spent much of my 20s in the Horse and Jockey.
What do you
think makes Chorlton, Stretford or Whalley Range
different?
I think the area is very diverse, both in terms of the type of
people that live in the area and also on what is available, while
at the same time there has been a real community spirit.
Got any funny
anecdotes about our very special Park/village?
None that are suitable for this type of publication
Finally if you
could be anyone for the day who would it be and
why?
I'd love to be Paul Weller for the day, and not only so I could
have some hair for once.
